Wasn't able to take the call as I was at work. They didn't leave a message. When I hit redial, the message said the number was disconnected and I should check the number and dial again.

Robot caller. Stating that they are with FOP. My Sheriff friend stated that its SCAM
dialed back, got "Sidney-female voice-saying 'this is recorded medical alert line, can you hear me'. "
This number is notorious for calling after 9PM.
Caller ID was Alum Creek, WV, but that is unlikely.
Mine was an automated call claiming to offer a free medical alert system from an organization called Senior Medical Benefits. I know from reading elsewhere they offer free equipment and an expensive monthly monitoring program to use it.
Options were to press "1" to get information or "5" to be removed. I selected "1" and asked the agent who he worked for. He quickly went into his sales pitch and asked me if I was interested.
I said I was interested in knowing why they were calling me since I was on the DNCR.
Of course, he hung up.
If you have time, waste their time.
I also filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.

I got a call from this number. Out of curiosity, I called it back. I was told that I was listed as a "valued customer" and was eligible for rewards!! Several thousands of dollars of rewards!! They had me hooked until they advised me that I was responsible for the shipping & handling and proceeded to ask for credit card or checking account information. I smelled a scam and hung up. Getting "rewards" isn't worth having my credit compromised by scammers!!!

Called them back sounds like a call center in India. Heavily broken English would not transfer me to a supervisor.
The call came in to my office's "Emergency Crisis" line !!!

They called and would not tell me what company they were... They said I bought something and wouldn't tell me what just said they had like 800 companies involved and they wanted to send me like a 100 or 200 hundred dollar gift card and some other thing to help me learn how to save money and all I had to do was pay 9.99 in shipping and handling... and I told them I didn't buy anything in the last few weeks and she said you haven't bought groceries and I said not for a few weeks and she said its for 6 months sir... I told them no thanks and she said well we cant make you so if you don't want these gifts then I'm sorry....Click she hung up?
Just got a call from same number. Didn't answer it, and after reading this post, I'm glad. Sounds like a scam to me.

Received call this morning, same as the rest of you. It said push 2 if you would like to be placed on our do not call list, I pushed 2 and nothing happened.

304-658- is from the Ansted, WV area.
I have been called twice from this person. Tried reverse look-up. The call is from Victor, WV, but would have had to pay for the name. Might be worth it, to know who this low-life is!
